This Refund Policy applies to all bookings made with
Eurotrail Journey's Private Limited (trading as ScenicEuro) (GST No. 27AAJCE2450L1ZG). Refunds are processed in accordance with our
Cancellation Policy and the terms outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.
1. Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be applicable in the following circumstances:
- Cancellation of a confirmed booking within the eligible period as per our Cancellation Policy.
- Cancellation of the tour by ScenicEuro (other than due to client's non-payment or conduct).
- Overpayment by the client due to an error.
- Failure of a service we committed to provide, where no suitable alternative was offered.
Refunds are not applicable in the following circumstances:
- Visa refusals (visa fees paid to embassies are non-refundable by embassies; the package refund follows the cancellation schedule).
- No-shows or unused services during the tour.
- Voluntary early termination of a tour by the client.
- Losses due to force majeure events where we have offered alternative arrangements.
- Services cancelled or modified due to the client's breach of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Refund Calculation
The refund amount will be calculated as follows:
- Total amount paid by the client
- minus applicable cancellation charges (per our Cancellation Policy)
- minus any non-recoverable third-party supplier costs (hotels, cruise lines, ground operators, etc.)
- minus any applicable GST adjustments as required by Indian tax regulations
- minus payment gateway transaction charges (typically 2โ3% for online payments)
The resulting amount, if positive, will be refunded to the client.

Please note that the timeline above refers to when we initiate the refund. Your bank's processing time may add additional days before funds appear in your account.
4. Refund Method
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original booking wherever possible.
- Bank transfers: We will require your bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account name) to process the refund.
- Credit/Debit card refunds: Processed back to the original card via payment gateway.
- UPI payments: Refunded to the originating UPI ID.
- Cash payments: Refunded via bank transfer (we do not issue cash refunds above โน2,000).
5. Online Payment Gateway Refunds
For payments made through Razorpay or other online payment gateways:
- Refund requests are initiated by ScenicEuro on the payment gateway portal.
- The payment gateway will process the refund to your bank account or card within 5โ10 business days.
- You will receive a refund confirmation from the payment gateway to your registered email.
- In case of any discrepancy, please contact us with your transaction reference number.
6. GST on Refunds
Refunds will be adjusted for GST in accordance with applicable Indian tax regulations. In cases where GST has already been remitted to the government, the refund may be exclusive of the GST component, or we will issue a credit note as required by law.
7. Disputed Transactions
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorised, please contact us immediately at info@sceniceuro.com with your booking reference and payment details. We will investigate and respond within 3 business days.
Please do not initiate a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us, as this may complicate and delay the resolution process.
8. Currency of Refund
All refunds will be made in Indian Rupees (INR) regardless of the currency in which services were originally quoted. Exchange rate fluctuations between quotation date and refund date do not affect the INR refund amount.
9. How to Request a Refund
- Email info@sceniceuro.com with the subject line: Refund Request โ [Your Booking Reference]
- Include your full name, booking reference, travel dates, reason for cancellation/refund, and your preferred refund method.
- Our team will acknowledge within 1โ2 business days and confirm the refund amount and timeline.
